Mahjong Solitaire is an ancient chinese tile matching solitaire game that is still very popular today.

Thank you for the detailed comments on the game I really appreciate them.

1. The reason I don't have an undo button is that people use it to peep under tiles.

2. The hint function is something I might have to add. The thought behind not adding it was that at the bottom there is a section that tells you how many matches are still left on the board. But think in the next update I will add a hint function and make it deduct score if you use it. And maybe also make it so that you only have a certain amount of hints.

3. Once the Level Editor is done and people start posting levels I want to make it so that for every number of levels the whole interface changes to keep things fresh. With the interface change I might make the music different as well, so we might get some Chinese music after all.

4. A scoring system and stats system is also planned which will keep all users scores in a central place so people can compare/compete against each other.

Mahjong was my favorite casual web game for many years and I'm receiving its first Silverlight rendering as if it were a surprise late Christmas present.

The graphic design of the application as a whole is successfully harmonious. The fonts, the backgrounds, the choice of color-palette and the tiles all come together very well.

The cadenced (tribally) music is there to remind you that the clock is ticking. I remember these Mahjong versions that had beautiful, peaceful, chinese garden-like music that after a while of not finding any matches would make me end up thinking about what I could prepare for dinner. This said, I'm very happy about the existence of music and sound effects toggle options: these are a must in any game if you ask me.

There is no "hint" option but Billy-Joe offers us a "free" button that highlights all the selectable tiles. Although it helps a lot spot pairs it would still be nice to see a hint for 5-minute game breaks.

The bottom part of the game page shows miscellaneous information about the application in a very user-friendly manner.

There is one thing I didn't get to figure out: when there are no more matches, do we get a message? I played several times to try and find this out but never got the "game over" sign. Could be that I didn't spot the matches since my Mahjong skills are rusty.

Missing but not necessary: Undo button, different sets of tiles to choose from, score keeping, but like it is mentioned on the website, it is a work in progress always heading towards improvement.

Overall, Mahjonged - Mahjong Solitaire is one of my favourite Silverlight games so far.
